Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Familiarity with serving elementary-aged students
- Proven ability with evaluations, therapy planning, developing IEP goals, and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation according to school guidelines
This position is exclusive to SLPs—no SLPAs—and requires a commitment to a 40-hour workweek, starting August 4, 2026 and concluding May 21, 2027. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite and demonstrate reliability and flexibility within the school environment.
