This contract position is designed for a School Psychologist eager to support children from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. The caseload includes some students with behavioral needs, so the ideal candidate will be compassionate, adaptable, and knowledgeable in best practices for elementary-age interventions.
Enjoy flexibility with a hybrid work arrangement—two days remote and three days on-site each week—while contributing your expertise during the upcoming school year. The assignment begins on August 6, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027. There is also an opportunity to attend a psychological services meeting on July 29th to connect with your team in advance.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and current School Psychologist license
- Experience supporting elementary students (PreK–5th grade), preferably in a school setting
- Familiarity with behavioral interventions and evaluation processes
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in both in-person and remote formats
- Ability to manage documentation, assessment, and consultation responsibilities with professionalism
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide interventions for students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute psychological expertise
- Support behavioral and academic needs within the elementary caseload
- Maintain confidential records and follow state guidelines
