Qualifications:

• Valid, active Louisiana Department of Education teaching certificate (not TAT or in-progress)
• Proven classroom experience in general education, preferably at the elementary level
• Thorough understanding of curriculum standards and classroom management techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and support staff
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, guardians, and team members
• Must be able to complete required district credentialing, including a drug screen and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver creative lesson plans that promote growth for diverse learners
• Monitor student progress and tailor instruction to support academic achievement
• Establish a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom climate
