Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active SLPA license for the state (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Excellent organizational skills and reliability
• A positive, patient, and adaptable approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy services to students
• Implement individualized education plans and therapy activities
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Prepare materials and adapt activities for optimal student engagement
• Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to promote students’ language development
• Support a diverse student population with varying communication needs
• Participate in team meetings as needed and contribute your observations
