Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education AND core content teaching certifications
• Experience teaching students with a range of significant support needs
• Dedication to fostering independence and functional academic growth
• Ability to tailor instruction to individual learning styles and IEP goals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Life Skills (RISE) curriculum to small groups of students
• Develop, implement, and track progress toward individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Partner with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required
