Job Description

Openings are available for skilled Special Education Teachers ready for a new adventure in teaching and professional growth. Positions are open for both middle school (grades 6-8) and elementary (grades K-5) across several campuses. These roles offer a consistent Monday-Thursday schedule with Fridays off, providing both structure and flexibility.
Current Positions Include:
- Middle School: 1 resource teacher and 1 self-contained teacher
- Elementary (Buckeye area): 2 self-contained teachers, including a 2-month short-term contract
- All roles are on-site and part of a welcoming, collaborative district team.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Arizona teaching license with IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience supporting students with special needs at the middle or elementary level
- Comfortable working on-site during regular school hours (7:30am-4:00pm, 36 hours/week)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual learner needs
- Develop and implement IEPs, tracking student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers, support personnel, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom climate where every student can thrive
