Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services using telespeech and teletherapy platforms for students in a school setting located in Fort Myers Beach, FL. This contract opportunity offers flexible hours, serving students across multiple schools within the Golden Gate City and Immokalee areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech services to K-12 students (Elementary through High School).
  • Complete Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation accurately and punctually.
  • Attend IEP meetings virtually to collaborate on student progress and goals.
  • Maintain compliance with all district and state guidelines for teletherapy services.
  • Note: Evaluations will not be conducted virtually and require alternate arrangements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold an active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • Prior successful completion of relevant teletherapy assignments is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations in speech-language pathology.
  • Ability to complete fingerprint clearance and obtain a JLA badge for district access.

Working Details:

  • Contract duration from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
  • Part-time or full-time availability up to 35 hours/week (approximately 7 hours per day).
  • Assignments will involve multiple schools within the designated areas.
  • Virtual work opportunities available for IEP meetings and teletherapy sessions.
