Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current or pending state licensure for Speech Language Pathology
- Experience or interest in working within PreK-12 populations in school settings
- Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
- Design and deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy interventions, both group and individual
- Develop and maintain accurate progress records and documentation in compliance with district and IDEA regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to support student success
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development activities
- Support the development of communication skills critical for academic and social achievement
