Take on a rewarding contract assignment supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant, onsite setting near Grand Prairie, TX. You’ll work directly with elementary-aged students throughout the school year, collaborating with staff and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Fluency in both English and Spanish required
- Previous experience working within a school setting is a must
- Ability to effectively manage an elementary caseload
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Commitment to cultural competency and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to inform educational planning
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and comply with district/state guidelines
- Promote social-emotional learning initiatives within the school
