Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid NM PED Level II or III School Psychologist certification required
  • Demonstrated experience working in a K-12 educational setting
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Compassionate approach to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct psychological services including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education and behavioral intervention plans
  • Conduct evaluations to support special education eligibility and services
  • Contribute to the development of strategies addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality in all student matters
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and multi-disciplinary team discussions
