Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid state Occupational Therapy license
  • Previous experience in school-based OT or similar pediatric setting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students for fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skill needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable therapy goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate strategies into classroom routines
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
  • Contribute to student progress meetings and IEP planning sessions
  • Provide resources, training, and guidance on best practices related to occupational therapy in schools
