Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience in school-based OT or similar pediatric setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students for fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skill needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable therapy goals
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, both individually and in groups
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate strategies into classroom routines
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Contribute to student progress meetings and IEP planning sessions
- Provide resources, training, and guidance on best practices related to occupational therapy in schools
