Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license, or eligibility for licensure, in Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Commitment to working inclusively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and small group settings
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop classroom strategies and support student success
- Stay current with best practices, professional development, and educational regulations
