Construction Project Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN or Bloomington, IN area
Job Type: Full-Time | In Person

Our Indiana-based construction client is seeking multiple Construction Project Managers to lead ground-up, cradle-to-grave commercial construction projects in Indianapolis and the Bloomington area. These roles will oversee all construction activities in coordination with on-site Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather and manage all relevant project information
  • \n
  • Prepare bid documents and manage distribution to subcontractors and vendors
  • \n
  • Develop, update, and manage project schedules and budgets on a weekly basis
  • \n
  • Adjust preconstruction budgets to reflect actual post-bid costs
  • \n
  • Maintain and monitor project budgets and accounting records throughout the project lifecycle
  • \n
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review budget, schedule, and progress
  • \n
  • Perform routine site visits, including full-day visits as required by project phase and location
  • \n
  • Prepare detailed, project-specific product manuals for turnover to property management
  • \n
  • Coordinate building turnover schedules with clients to ensure smooth transitions
  • \n
  • Establish and oversee jobsite safety programs in collaboration with the Superintendent
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and all federal, state, and local regulations
  • \n
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support project success
  • \n

Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field preferred\n
      \n
    • OR 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
    • \n
  • \n
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • \n
  • Proven ability to work effectively with building officials, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • \n
  • Solid understanding of construction scheduling and experience with scheduling software
  • \n
  • Strong financial and budget management skills
  • \n
  • Proficient in standard construction/project management software; Procore experience is a plus
  • \n

Salary

  • $85k - $125k
  • \n
\n

  • 4+ years of ground-up commercial construction projects over $30M
  • \n
  • 8+ years of ground-up commercial construction projects over $15M
  • \n
\n
