This is a Physical Therapist Acute Care travel/contract opportunity at a Critical Access Hospital in Chewelah, WA (Providence Saint Joseph's Hospital Chewelah). The position is generally 0.6 FTE, Monday through Friday (with flexibility for Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday schedules). Workday hours vary based on hospital census. The primary need is working inpatient therapy at the Chewelah facility, but the traveler therapist may float to other facilities based on facility need and the therapist's ability, including facilities in Colville and Spokane.
Key Responsibilities- Provide inpatient physical therapy services at the primary facility in Chewelah
- Float between units per unit needs
- Float to other facilities in Colville and Spokane based on facility need and therapist ability
- Manage patient ratios of 1:5 10
- Adapt workday schedule based on hospital census
- PT License required (Washington State)
- LOCALS 1Y/1ST TIMER eligible first-time travelers accepted

This client is a leading healthcare and medical services organization operating acute and critical access hospital facilities across the Pacific Northwest, including locations in Washington State. The facility is a 23-bed Critical Access Hospital serving patients in Chewelah and the surrounding region, with affiliated facilities in Colville and Spokane. The care team includes allied health professionals, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and clinical support staff who collaborate across inpatient therapy and rehabilitation units.
