Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and assess individualized patient care plans based on thorough evaluations.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes and coordinate patient care effectively.
- Recognize barriers to effective communication and provide suitable education to patients and their families.
- Delegate patient care tasks to support staff and mentor student nurses and new team members.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and infection control protocols.
- Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation while efficiently managing time and responsibilities.
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (or to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (or to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
- Current STABLE certification (or to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- At least 1 year of experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care Nursing.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening is required.
