Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract and retain a legal, compliant workforce across multiple labor markets.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and workforce planning for high-volume hiring needs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, labor regulations, and immigration-related requirements.
- Establish employee relations programs and serve as a trusted advisor on performance management, disciplinary actions, and workforce concerns.
- Support workforce expansion initiatives, including creative sourcing strategies and alternative labor programs.
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational structure, staffing plans, and long-term workforce strategy.
- Partner with insurance, legal, and operational teams to support compliance, risk management, and workers' compensation requirements.
- Bilingual Spanish and English required
- Associates Degree required
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience; leadership experience supporting large or high-volume workforces and recruiting strongly preferred.
- Experience building HR programs, policies, procedures, and operational infrastructure from the ground up.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, logistics, staffing, or other labor-intensive environments preferred.
- Proven recruiting experience in high-turnover or high-volume hiring environments.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
- Experience with workforce planning, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence and partner effectively with executive leadership.
