LHH is partnering with a manufacturing organization seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Assembly and Machine Shop operations through process improvement, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This hands-on role will focus on improving manufacturing efficiency, optimizing workflows, enhancing process documentation, and driving productivity improvements across the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
'05; Lead process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
'05; Conduct equipment, tooling, and process qualifications
'05; Perform time studies and develop standard work procedures
'05; Participate in Kaizen and variation reduction activities
'05; Create and update work instructions, routings, and manufacturing documentation
'05; Identify opportunities for tooling and fixturing improvements
'05; Support line balancing and workflow optimization efforts
'05; Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Tool & Die teams
'05; Assist with equipment and tooling specification and procurement
Qualifications:
• Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related manufacturing experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and process control
• Experience with process documentation and standard work development
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
• Familiarity with inspection and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) preferred
• SolidWorks experience for tooling and fixture design is a plus
Pay Details: $55.00 to $75.00 per hour
