This job in a nutshell:
- Day to Day General Ledger, Journal Entries, Reconciliation
- Accounting for the Corporate Accounting functions and subsidiaries not including production
- Supervise the AP and Corporate GL teams
- Consolidations and Eliminations
- Support some Technical Accounting pieces
- Expenses at a Consolidated level and allocation
- Participate in M&A as it comes up, most likely on the integration side
- BS in Accounting, CPA is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting, including some leadership experience
- US GAAP and General Ledger experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting policy application, technical accounting research, and financial control frameworks
- Someone strong with systems and process improvements (AP specific highly preferred)
- Servant-leader style: Looking for someone who loves to support the team and company around them.
- We work with in a lot of moving parts, so needs the ability to pick things up and put things down.
- A lot of interdepartmental communication, needs to be able to interact directly with executives. This company culture prefers direct in person communication when possible - walk down the hall style.
