LHH is partnering with a respected organization in the Orlando area to identify a Commercial Contracts Counsel for a contract engagement. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, negotiating complex agreements, and providing practical legal guidance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will support a broad range of commercial transactions while helping the organization navigate legal and business risks associated with contractual relationships.

Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including:
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Vendor and supplier agreements
- SaaS and technology contracts
- Professional services agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Procurement and licensing agreements
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Provide practical legal guidance to business teams regarding contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation.
- Partner with procurement, finance, compliance, and operational stakeholders throughout the contracting process.
- Identify and analyze legal and commercial risks while developing business-focused solutions.
- Support contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewals.
- Assist with corporate legal projects and other matters as assigned.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of experience handling commercial contracts, preferably within a corporate legal department or law firm serving corporate clients.
- Strong experience negotiating vendor, technology, procurement, and professional services agreements.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate practical business solutions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
