Make a lasting impact on high school students’ communication skills in a supportive school environment. We're seeking a knowledgeable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time contract position serving students in grades 9-12. This opportunity allows you to provide targeted interventions during the school year and play an essential role in students’ educational journeys.

Key Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid state licensure/certification as an SLP or SLPA for school settings
  • Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention for speech and language disorders
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly one-hour therapy sessions to a dedicated caseload of 21 high school students
  • Implement effective and individualized communication intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ success in the classroom
  • Monitor and document each student’s progress, maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals and progress
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning as needed

Position Details:

  • Contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 6, 2026 – May 26, 2027)
  • Part-time schedule with 24 hours of work per week
  • School-based caseload focused on supporting high schoolers
