Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech and language support for the 2026/2027 school year! This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), SLPs with CCC, Clinical Fellows, or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) who are passionate about pediatric care in a school environment. You’ll work with PreK through primary school students, helping them build communication skills in a supportive and enriching educational setting.
Key Qualities and Experience:
- Valid licensure as an SLP, CCC-SLP, SLPA, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Background working in school settings is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of PreK and primary students
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success
- Attend and contribute to meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities throughout the school year
This is a 20-hour per week, full school year contract based at the MC Bailey building. Clinical Fellows and SLPAs are encouraged to apply—mentorship and support provided!
