A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students through a contract position from September to December. This role focuses on providing specialized OT services within schools, working primarily with elementary-aged children and a select group of middle school students. Deliver high-quality, individualized interventions that help children succeed in their academic and social environments—all within a flexible, part-time schedule of just 5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts
  • Experience delivering OT services in school settings strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in tailoring interventions for elementary and middle school students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop targeted treatment plans for students in need of OT services
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions, adapting techniques to meet individual student needs
  • Document student progress, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to promote functional outcomes
  • Provide input during student support meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
