Step into a rewarding school-based contract role supporting students across PreK through middle school levels. This full-time position runs for 36 hours each week, specifically covering maternity leave from August 24, 2026, through November 18, 2026. Your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a meaningful difference as you collaborate with staff and families to enhance educational experiences and outcomes for students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid School Psychologist certification
  • Experience with schools, preferably working across a range of grade levels (PreK–Middle School)
  • Skilled in conducting Special Education evaluations (SPED evals), Reevaluation Determinations (REEDs), and developing/implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, data collection, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Manage caseloads for SPED evaluations, REEDs, and IEPs, ensuring timelines and legal compliance are met
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to address academic, emotional, and behavioral concerns
  • Develop intervention strategies and recommendations to support student success
  • Participate in team meetings, offer guidance on best practices, and provide resources as needed
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation according to school and district guidelines
