Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, teachers, and families
  • Adaptability in a school setting, with a student-centered approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and educational plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEPs
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive education planning
  • Educate parents and school staff on strategies to promote student independence and participation in school activities
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state requirements
