Step into a key support role serving students across four close-knit elementary and K-12 schools in the Dallas, TX area. This school-based contract opportunity is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for pediatric settings and collaboration. You’ll provide direct services under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, helping up to 60 students succeed in the classroom and beyond from August 2026 through May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure required
  • Recent school-based experience strongly preferred, particularly supporting a diverse K-12 population
  • Familiarity with ESPED (IEP management software) is highly desirable
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple sites within a few miles of each other (itinerant role)
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to students as directed by the supervising OT
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with established protocols and IEP requirements
  • Partner with teachers, families, and the therapy team to address students’ functional goals
  • Travel between Cockrell Hill (K-2), Katherine Johnson (K-12), The Meadows (K-5), and Woodridge (K-5) schools
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide input regarding student progress and interventions
