Occupational Therapist School Setting in Glendale, AZ

An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful impact with a PreK-8th grade caseload. This onsite contract role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a diverse school environment and are committed to supporting students' growth and independence.

Key Qualifications:

• Current state Occupational Therapy license required
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card must be active and presented at application
• Previous experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work with PreK through 8th grade students
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OT services to students varying in abilities and grade levels
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school policies
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and IEP development
• Adapt interventions to both group and individual student needs
• Remain up-to-date with best practices and special education requirements

Role Details:

• Full time, onsite position
• Contract begins 8/3/26 and continues through 5/26/27 (dates subject to change)
• Support a vibrant student population across multiple grade levels
• Directly assist in maximizing student success and participation in school activities
