Job Description
Shape the future of young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK through 5th grade students. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide speech services at an elementary setting for 35 hours a week throughout the academic year. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license in Maryland
- Prior experience in Maryland school settings strongly preferred
- Background working with elementary-aged students (PreK-5th grade)
- Comfortable managing a caseload providing approximately 60 service hours monthly
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt between onsite and virtual (VOCO) service delivery if needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language services to elementary students in PreK through 5th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams to support each student's progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of all services delivered
- Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting to student and school needs
- Contribute to IEP meetings and student progress reports
