LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing and dynamic organization in the e-commerce industry to identify a Senior Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working cross-functionally, and has strong month-end close experience. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of US GAAP, advanced Excel skills, and experience working with large ERP and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly revenue journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Support the monthly close process by maintaining accurate supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Prepare prepaid expense journal entries and reconciliations, including amortization schedules.
  • Record and reconcile accrued expenses through coordination with internal departments and external partners.
  • Assist with coding and processing issuing bank and payment network billings, ensuring accurate general ledger classification.
  • Retrieve, organize, and analyze financial data from Oracle Fusion, Snowflake, Adaptive Planning, and Office Connect.
  • Investigate account variances and assist with researching discrepancies.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and reports for management review.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Accounting Operations, FinOps, and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather information necessary to complete accounting activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
  • Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial analyses.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion required.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Adaptive Planning, or Office Connect is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
