We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations within a growing manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing a team of engineers while driving product development, manufacturing support, process optimization, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong manufacturing background who can bridge engineering and operations to improve efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of design, manufacturing, and process engineers.
- Oversee engineering projects from concept through production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
- Ensure engineering designs, drawings, and documentation support efficient manufacturing processes.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical challenges and improve production performance.
- Manage engineering change activities and configuration control processes.
- Support process planning, production readiness, and manufacturing execution.
- Evaluate new projects for technical feasibility and manufacturing capability.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CAD software and engineering documentation.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
