Our client is a successful service corporation with nationwide presence looking to hire for a Senior Manager of Payroll. The proper candidate will have at least 10 years of inhouse payroll experience, management experience and union payroll background. You will handle a weekly payroll across multiple entities and states with salaried and contract union employees. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that can offer you a challenge as well as stability and a strong benefits package. Salary range in $140-160K plus bonus and this is a fully in-office position, no hybrid or work from home available.

The responsibilities of the Payroll Director include:
  • Processing of a 1000+ employee union/non-union payroll on a weekly and bi-weekly basis
  • Manage a staff of 5
  • Assure accuracy of payroll for both hourly, salaried and union employees
  • Collaborate with HR on processing employee updates
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations
  • Work with employees to resolve any issues with compensation
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of payroll experience
  • Must have experience with union payroll, prevailing wage experience preferred
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Strong teamwork mentality and the willingness to go over and above as needed
