Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacist with expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding for a 13-week contract to hire opportunity located in West Chester, PA. This position offers flexible weekday shifts with hours designed to support work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare compounded sterile and non-sterile medications accurately following master formula worksheets.
  • Implement and adhere to SOPs and policies to ensure patient safety and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with USP standards and guidelines relevant to sterile and non-sterile compounding.
  • Perform cleaning and garbing procedures per company policy.
  • Conduct precise calculations and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Operate pharmaceutical production equipment in alignment with policies and quality standards.
  • Employ appropriate aseptic techniques and prepare work areas thoroughly prior to compounding.
  • Monitor computerized and technical equipment to maintain quality control.
  • Verify the quality, purity, and potency of compounded medications.
  • Conduct quality control tests and inspections.
  • Stay updated on new compounding methods, formulations, and technologies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development in compounding pharmacy practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
  • Recent experience in pharmacy practice.
  • Proven sterile compounding experience is required.
  • New graduates with sterile compounding training are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
  • Alternate shift: Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM may be assigned.
