We're seeking three passionate, skilled professionals committed to fostering inclusive learning environments. These positions are located in welcoming elementary settings in the greater Aurora area, with opportunities to work at top district schools recognized for their supportive cultures and collaborative resources.
Current needs include:
- Learning Specialist: Support mild to moderate needs at a vibrant elementary campus with a focus on individualized instruction and student growth.
- Affective Needs Specialist: Lead a team supporting students with significant emotional and behavioral disabilities, applying CPI, ABA, and other de-escalation strategies. Autism experience is a must.
- Structured Learning Services Specialist: Serve students with severe cognitive and behavioral challenges in a self-contained classroom, coordinating with related service providers. Station-based schedule and cognitive disability experience are highly valued, with autism expertise being essential.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education Generalist (5-21) endorsement
- Experience with specialized programs for emotional, behavioral, cognitive, or autism spectrum disabilities
- Leadership skills for guiding a small paraprofessional team
- Knowledge of CPI, ABA principles, Denver model, or similar behavioral support frameworks preferred
- Strong collaborative spirit and positive attitude—your fit with school teams is important!
Role Highlights:
- 37.5 hours per week, on-site in an elementary campus setting
- Individualized assignments—one school per role
- Assignment dates: late July through late May
