Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential
• Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities
• Background in resource or mod/severe (Autism) classrooms preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Committed to inclusive education and individualized instruction
• Organized, flexible, and able to adapt to changing student needs
• Ability to team effectively with staff, families, and service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
• Adapt curriculum and modify lessons to support various learning abilities
• Employ evidence-based instructional strategies for students with autism and other disabilities
• Track and document student progress, maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, specialists, and aides to ensure student success
• Engage regularly with families and caregivers to maximize support and continuity of care
