School Speech Language Pathologist - Walkerton, IN

Take your speech-language pathology expertise to a dynamic educational environment serving students ages 2 to 22. This contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week onsite for the 2026-2027 school year. Bring your skills to a role focused on making a real difference for students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and provide targeted speech-language therapy, including intervention in areas of assistive technology, augmentative communication, articulation, voice, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays
• Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments to inform treatment plans
• Prepare comprehensive, insightful reports based on student assessments and observations
• Work directly with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's growth
• Develop and maintain IEP objectives tailored to student needs
• Communicate effectively with parents and peers regarding student development and ongoing support needs
• Support students using a flexible, problem-solving approach

Qualifications:

• Current Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and eligibility for license from Department of Education (IDOE)
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and SLPs with at least 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Background working with students with disabilities in school settings a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrated flexibility and collaborative mindset
