Job Description
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCCs) to support student growth and communication development onsite in a dynamic school setting near Bristol, CT. Multiple contract positions are open at PreK, middle school, and elementary levels, perfect for professionals seeking a rewarding assignment while working closely with dedicated educators and enthusiastic learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC license in Connecticut required
- Proven experience delivering speech/language therapy services to school-aged children, preferably within a school environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student populations
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct speech/language assessments and collaborate in the development of IEP goals
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate records related to assessments, therapy, and student progress
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with a variety of communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
Three distinct roles are available:
- Green-Hills PreK: August 24, 2026 – November 13, 2026
- Chippens Hill Middle School: August 27, 2026 – End of November
- Mountain View: August 27, 2026 – November 23, 2026
Each position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 35 hours per week at the assigned school site.
