Speech Language Pathologist in Garland, TX
Job Description
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students throughout the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team to serve a caseload of approximately 40 students requiring both direct and indirect speech-language services. This onsite, full-time position provides the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based environment is preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
- Competence in conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and delivering a range of speech-language services
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy and evaluations to a diverse group of elementary students
- Develop and implement IEP goals and objectives
- Work collaboratively with special education teams, teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all student services and progress
- Participate in meetings and provide input to support student needs
