FAA Painter
Job Description
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking detail-oriented and quality-focused FAA Painters to join a manufacturing team supporting aerospace production. In this role, you'll help ensure aircraft-related components receive the protective coatings and finishes necessary to meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

What You'll DoSurface Preparation & Painting
- Prepare parts and assemblies for painting through:
- Cleaning
- Masking
- Sanding
- Surface preparation techniques
- Apply primers, paints, and specialty coatings using spray-painting equipment
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications and work instructions
- Inspect coated surfaces to ensure:
- Proper coverage
- Finish consistency
- Color accuracy
- Compliance with engineering specifications
- Perform touch-up and rework activities as required
- Maintain paint equipment and tools in safe working condition
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Follow FAA, company, environmental, and safety procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and production activities
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical training, vocational education, apprenticeship, or formal training in:
- Painting
- Coatings
- Manufacturing
- Related trades
- 0–2 years of experience in:
- Industrial painting
- Aerospace manufacturing
- Automotive painting
- Production environments
- Knowledge of:
- Spray painting techniques
- Surface preparation
- Coating applications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent:
- Standing
- Walking
- Bending
- Reaching
- Repetitive hand movements
- Ability to wear required PPE, including:
- Respirators
- Protective clothing
- Safety equipment

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
