Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a leading healthcare organization seeking a Radiology Scheduling/Registration Clerk to join its outpatient imaging team. This position is ideal for an experienced Radiology Scheduler who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and understands the importance of accuracy when processing physician imaging orders. The ideal candidate will have recent experience scheduling outpatient radiology procedures, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of orders while delivering excellent patient service.

Responsibilities:
- Process 150–200 physician imaging orders received daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review physician orders and verify all required information prior to scheduling.
- Schedule outpatient imaging appointments, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, X-Ray, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Complete patient registration and verify demographic information.
- Perform insurance verification and ensure all required documentation is obtained.
- Coordinate scheduling needs and communicate effectively with physician offices and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients and referring providers.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a high-volume scheduling environment.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Radiology scheduling experience required.
- Experience scheduling outpatient imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and X-Ray required.
- Experience with Nuclear Medicine scheduling is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload while meeting productivity expectations.
- Experience with patient registration and insurance verification preferred.
- Experience using Epic EMR strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
