POSITION OVERVIEW:

Emergency Nurses provide critical care to patients facing urgent medical situations involving trauma or injury. These professionals are adept at swiftly identifying life-threatening conditions and are equipped to address them immediately. They may find employment in various settings, including hospital emergency departments, ambulances, helicopters, urgent care facilities, sports venues, and more. As an Emergency Nurse, you will manage a wide range of medical issues, from minor ailments like sore throats to severe emergencies such as heart attacks, catering to patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting. An Illinois State Healthcare Provider license is required or the willingness to obtain one.

NECESSARY CERTIFICATIONS:

This role may require one or more of the following certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, STABLE, TNCC.
