Job Description
Make a real impact supporting students across dual site locations as a contract School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with faculty and families while applying your expertise in educational psychology to help students thrive.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current and valid state license as a School Psychologist (required)
- Prior experience working within school settings is highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage varying caseload sizes and adjust to dynamic situations
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to inform academic and behavioral interventions
- Interpret assessment results and communicate recommendations to teachers, administrators, and parents
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavioral intervention strategies
- Consult with staff and provide expertise on student support services, classroom accommodations, and crisis intervention
- Engage in ongoing documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Travel between two nearby sites as part of your regular work week
