Job Description

This rewarding, onsite contract role is conveniently located near Arlington, TN, with four openings available: two at the elementary level, one in PreK, and one in high school. All positions are self-contained classrooms, offering a structured and supportive environment to foster each learner’s growth.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Tennessee teaching license
- 459 or 461 teaching endorsement (as required for Special Education roles)
- CDC (Comprehensive Development Classroom) certification
- Experience working in self-contained classroom settings strongly preferred
- Passion for fostering social, behavioral, and academic growth
- Commitment to inclusive education principles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to a variety of learning styles and needs
- Maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Collaborate regularly with families, service providers, and school staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Utilize suitable assistive technology and resources for instruction
The schedule for these positions is 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance throughout the school year.
