Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Coachella, CA, supporting students through both telespeech and teletherapy services. This contract role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week during the full school year calendar.
Essential qualifications for this role include:
- Valid California Teaching Credential Commission (CTC) certification with an active Credential of Competency (COC)
- Completion of fingerprinting through the CTC system
- Experience providing speech-language therapy services in academic settings
- Ability to deliver both direct and indirect therapy sessions
- Capability to manage a moderate to severe caseload
Responsibilities include collaborating with onsite contracted paraprofessional facilitators to enhance student outcomes and providing tailored therapy sessions that align with individual student needs. The caseload will involve a range of speech and language disorders; the student age range may vary.
Located in the Coachella Valley area, this position offers the opportunity to utilize teletherapy methods alongside in-person support within a supportive educational environment. Candidates must be prepared to maintain compliance with all CTC requirements throughout their tenure.
