Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Colorado (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to implement therapy goals within academic frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with staff, parents, and students
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and adaptive equipment for diverse needs
  • Flexibility to work with a caseload spanning various ages and abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive functioning to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services per IEPs, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports to support students’ educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive technology
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality, current OT practices
