Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting students from PreK through Middle School as a contract school psychologist on a full-time basis (36 hours per week) for a maternity leave assignment spanning from 8/24/26 through 11/18/26. Your experience conducting SPED evaluations, coordinating REEDs, and participating in IEP meetings will play a key part in ensuring students receive the best support possible. You’ll collaborate closely with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that address each child’s unique learning needs.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students ranging from PreK to Middle School
- Strong background in SPED evaluations, REEDs, and IEP processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and parents
- Compassionate, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students
- Participate actively in REED and IEP meetings
- Work with teachers and support staff to interpret assessment results and develop effective intervention strategies
- Document student progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Support school-wide and individual student social-emotional learning initiatives
