Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting PreK–5th grade students with speech and language needs. This position is ideal for an engaging SLP-CCC who thrives in collaborative school settings and values making a direct impact on young learners. You'll provide a minimum of 60 service hours per month across elementary grade levels, working full-time (35 hours a week) throughout the school year.
Your role will focus on developing individualized plans, delivering therapy sessions onsite (with some flexibility for teletherapy), and working closely with educators and parents to advance students' communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current, active Maryland SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Previous experience in Maryland school systems highly valued.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.
- Flexibility to provide services onsite; teletherapy experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and rapport-building skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to elementary students (PreK–5th grade), meeting at least 60 service hours per month.
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain thorough session documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support student progress.
- Adapt interventions to individual student needs and school environments.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
