Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Active Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health.
- School-based or pediatric PT experience preferred.
- Ability to travel between multiple campuses within the district.
- Familiarity with credentialing processes—including fingerprinting via the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtaining a JLA badge—is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students from preschool through high school, adapting interventions to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families in developing and implementing student-specific plans.
- Assess, document, and report on student progress and response to therapy.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP processes.
- Manage a flexible caseload, rotating between various schools within the district.
