Step into an impactful role guiding elementary students toward communication success for the 2026–2027 school year! Leverage your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, intervention, and IEP plan development for a dedicated caseload of around 40 students in an elementary school environment. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators, administrators, families, and support staff to foster student growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active, valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Proven experience in school settings, preferably with elementary age groups
- Well-versed in conducting speech and language evaluations, documentation, and goal development within IEP frameworks
- Ability to design and deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and reassessments per IEP timelines
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans for students with speech-language needs
- Provide direct therapy and consultative support, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate progress and collaborate with teachers, families, and related personnel
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to an inclusive educational environment
