Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - K-12

Location: Golden, Colorado
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
School Year: 2026-2027

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students in grades K-12. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for professionals who are passionate about helping students develop the communication skills necessary for academic and social success. Both experienced SLPs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.

  • Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.

  • Serve as the case manager for students eligible under IDEA.

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student achievement.

  • Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and school-based collaboration.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility.

  • Active or pending Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Professional Special Services Provider License with endorsement in School Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based speech-language services.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.

  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
