Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Leasing Administrator to support daily leasing and occupancy operations for an affordable housing community. The ideal candidate will have experience with Yardi, a strong understanding of HUD regulations, Fair Housing laws, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance requirements.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Leasing Administrator to support daily leasing and occupancy operations for an affordable housing community. The ideal candidate will have experience with Yardi, a strong understanding of HUD regulations, Fair Housing laws, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Process rental applications and maintain applicant waitlists
- Prepare leases, recertifications, renewals, and resident correspondence
- Ensure resident files comply with HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing requirements
- Assist with annual and interim income certifications
- Review and verify income, assets, and supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate resident records within Yardi
- Support occupancy and leasing activities to maintain high occupancy rates
- Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and unit transfers
- Assist with compliance audits and file reviews
- Generate reports and maintain documentation required by regulatory agencies
- Work closely with property management and compliance teams to ensure adherence to program guidelines
- Minimum 2 years of leasing, property management, or housing administration experience
- Hands-on experience using Yardi
- Knowledge of HUD regulations and programs
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Experience with LIHTC (Tax Credit) compliance
- Strong administrative, organizational, and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with affordable housing communities
- Experience processing income certifications and recertifications
- Knowledge of occupancy standards and compliance reporting
