This opportunity is ideal for attorneys who excel in a fast-paced environment and have experience handling complex business disputes, motion practice, discovery, and developing effective litigation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and case assessments
- Handle all phases of discovery, including document review, written discovery, and deposition preparation
- Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law
- Attend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit and witness coordination
- Review and analyze contracts, financial records, and other business documents relevant to litigation matters
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 2+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Experience handling business disputes, breach of contract claims, and other complex commercial litigation matters
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Federal court experience is a plus
